HGV 1 Driver Day Shunter

Our Client is one of and fastest growing express parcel delivery companies in the UK

£17.35 per hour

We are currently recruiting on their behalf an experienced and dedicated HGV 1 Tug Driver / Shunter to support their Dartford and Thames Depot on an ongoing basis.

HGV 1 Shunter Job Description
Your key responsibilities will include;

• Movement of trailers/tugs through the confines of the yard in a safe responsible action
• Adhering to yard Health and Safety procedures and regulations
• Reporting any damage seen or that may have occurred during movements of trailers
• Occasional Delivery and Warehouse Work

What we’re looking for;

• The ability to work efficiently within a fast paced and pressured environment to ensure that our yard operation runs as smoothly as possible
• Have experience in a similar position
• Hold a Class 1 LGV Licence (C + E)
• A current driver CPC card
• Tachograph

Working hours

As our clients depots are operational 7 days a week you will be required to work 5 shifts per week Tuesday to Saturday

The typical working hours will be Tuesday to Saturday 5 AM to 13:45 PM

Please note A full UK driving licence and CPC card and Tachograph will be required for this role
