Working alongside the Branch manager you will help develop freight forwarding business for their newly opened west midlands freight office.
This is a great opportunity to make your mark and grow the existing and new customer base.
Our client has an extensive network of their own UK offices and partner offices worldwide .
Your sales territory is unrestricted
My client is open to either a seasoned professional with many year experience or someone who has maybe 2 years freight forwarding experience wishing to further their career in a sales and account management role.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the below with a proven track record/experience in freight forwarding .
- Generate new prospect leads and new freight accounts over the telephone and face-to-face.
- Role will involve telesales, face to face selling (B2B), Negotiations and Presentations
- Consistently grow the gross profit and achieve targets
- Achieve Sales productivity and revenue targets
- Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
- Provide customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrate an ability to negotiate and influence others both internally and externally
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in working to targets and deadlines
- Experience of working in a proactive sales role either on the phone or face-to-face
Starting salary 30k – £52,000 plus generous uncapped commission structure along with company car or allowance after a successful probation period Warmest Regards
