HGV 1 driver for container work in Felixstowe

Due to continued growth with a leading logistics company in Felixstowe area, we are urgently seeking to recruit for experienced HGV1 ContainerDrivers to fulfil shifts collecting from Felixstowe

THE ROLE : Working as a HGV1 day driver delivering and collecting containers nationwide

Please note* This position is through our agency.

HGV 1 Driver

Days – £17.00ph

Nights – £18.00ph

Weekend premiums apply.

A minimum of 10 hours guaranteed pay and no breaks deducted for longer shifts.

You must be well presented and have experience as an HGV 1 Driver, having an excellent work ethic, want to make a difference to the company you are working for, and have excellent communication skills.

You will be the face of the client whilst driving their vehicles, so they expect professionalism and a can-do attitude whilst remaining within legal limits.

Successful applicants will need:

Full UK Driving License with C+E entitlement & Digital tachograph card

Driver qualification card (CPC)

Rhides Card

Proven work experience as an HGV 1 Driver and have the ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.

Extensive knowledge of Road Transport & Working Time rules and regulations
