Drivetek Recruitment Ltd are looking to recruit experienced and professional HGV 1 Tramper Drivers to join our longstanding client’s team in both Leeds and Hull.

Nice clean cabs and a modern fleet.

Basic Rate £15.00ph guaranteed minimum of 8 hours.

And Overtime £18.75 – Paid after 8 hours

Regular ongoing work

Saturday work available as overtime

Working Monday to Saturday* with nights out £30 additional bonus per night (*we do also have other shift patterns available if preferred – so please just ask).

Ideally, you will be experienced in general haulage work – with the delivery of palletised goods, ambient foods as well as timber and paper being their typical loads – specific load training can be provided if needed.

You must be well presented and have experience as an HGV 1 Driver having an excellent work ethic, want to make a difference to the company you are working for, and have excellent communication skills.

You will be the face of the client whilst driving their vehicles, so they expect professionalism and a can-do attitude whilst remaining within legal limits.

Successful applicants will need:

Full UK Driving License with C+E entitlement Digital tachograph card

Driver qualification card (CPC)

Proven work experience as a Class 1 HGV driver Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.

Extensive knowledge of Road Transport & Working Time rules and regulations

Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)

Flexible approach – you may be required to drive all classes of LGV/HGV vehicles.
