HGV 1 Driver for Nights

Drivetek Recruitment are looking to recruit an HGV Driver for a agency Night trunk role in the Colchester area in Essex for 3 different clients who are using on an ongoing basis.

You must have experience of double deckers and ideally one of the clients also sometimes will change the job to a container run, so both are extremely useful.

6 months minimum HGV1 experience

Start times are around 18:00 – 20:00 on a Monday to Friday basis.

Rates

• £18.00ph Nights Minimum
• £20.00ph Overtime with 2/3 clients
• Min 8 hours guaranteed per day with OT after 2/3. 3rd Client guarantees 10.
• Weekly pay

References will be required, prior to starting work

You must be well presented, and have experience of an HGV 1 Driver having an excellent work ethic, want to make a difference to the company you are working for and have excellent communication skills. You will be the face of the client whilst driving their vehicles so they expect professionalism and a can do attitude whilst remaining within legal limits.

Due to insurance restrictions we are unable to accept applications for this client if you have CD, DD, DR, MS or IN convictions. Ideally you will have a clean licence but can accept up to 9 point in some circumstances.

you can expect work around 10-12 hours on a daily or nightly basis.

The client is always on the look out for drivers of the right quality so could lead to a temp to perm.

We also require an HGV 1 driver & HGV 2 drivers for a number of our other contracts in Essex and as such even if this is too far away we may have something closer to you.
