HGV 2 Hiab Driver Urgently required

HGV 2 Driver HIAB with Lorry Loader certifications: Must have Grab attachment and HMF experience.

Our client, a major high street building merchants require several class 2 lorry loader drivers for ongoing work within the locally specified geographic area. Hours are normally within 07:30am to 17:00pm

Pay Rate £16.25
Minimum 8 Hours Paid Per Day

The job role:

Delivery of building/plumbing material(s) to customer (domestic/site)

Will be required to load/unload various products

You must also hold a full UK licence, Drivers CPC and Digi Card. Certificate in lorry loader required along with Brick Grab.

Any driver commencing with us must hold a valid lorry loader crane certificate. It should state when the test was passed and also the type of crane along with the type of attachments the operator can use.

We can only accept certificates from the following accrediting bodies:

ALLMI – Association of Lorry Loaders, Manufacturers and Importers

ITSSAR – The Independent Training Scheme Standards and Register Scheme

RTITB – Road Transport Industry Training Board

AITT – Association of Industrial Truck Trainers

NPORS – National Plant Operators Registration Scheme

CPCS – Construction Plant Competence Scheme Class 2 with Lorry Loader

The driver ideally needs to have held the relevant licence for 6 months
A maximum of 6 points excluding DR & DD unless the relevant ban has been completed
There are no age restrictions
All drivers are to have a good understanding of the local area.
Between 10-15 drops per day depending on geography
Possess customer service skills and will be in regular contact with the client customer
Be prepared to work in all weathers
Drivers to have PPE
The driver may also be booked for one depot but may be asked to go to another depot in the area for which we would reimburse fuel costs.
