HGV1  Container Drivers wanted  in Felixstowe

We are currently experiencing sustained growth at a prominent logistics firm in the Felixstowe region.

As a result, we are in urgent need of skilled HGV1 Container Drivers to cover shifts for collection from Felixstowe.

We are looking for both part-time and full-time drivers.

The position involves working as an HGV 1 driver, with responsibilities including the delivery and collection of containers across the country.

It’s important to note that this position is being offered through our agency.

HGV 1 Driver Pay rates 

• Days – £17.00ph
• Nights – £18.00ph
• Saturday and Sunday at premium rates

A minimum of 10 hours guaranteed pay

You must be well presented and have experience as a HGV 1 Driver on containers in Felixstowe , having an excellent work ethic, want to make a difference to the company you are working for, and have excellent communication skills.

You will be the face of the client whilst driving their vehicles, so they expect professionalism and a can-do attitude whilst remaining within legal limits.

Successful applicants will need:

Full UK Driving License with C+E entitlement & Digital tachograph card

Driver qualification card (CPC)

Rhides Card

Proven work experience as an HGV 1 Driver and have the ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.

Extensive knowledge of Road Transport & Working Time rules and regulations
