We are seeking an HGV 2 driver for a local client on an ongoing basis. The starting time will be between 06:00 and 08:00 am.

This position offers ongoing work from Monday to Friday for the right candidate. The role involves collection and delivery work, including 5-15 deliveries plus a few collections on the return journey.

This opportunity is ideal for someone looking for a consistent HGV 2 driver role with full-time hours. We guarantee a minimum of 8-10 hours of pay per day, depending on the client. Payment is made weekly at a minimum rate of £16 per hour. Immediate start available, with the possibility of temp-to-perm placement.

We have several clients in the Essex area seeking drivers for curtain-side and tail-lift deliveries for local work. There may be occasional handball involved, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.

**Requirements:**

– No more than 6 penalty points on your license and no convictions for DR, DD, or IN offenses (insurance restrictions apply).

– A full UK license with Category C, Drivers CPC, and Digi Card.

– A minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV 2 driver is preferred but may be flexible based on the individual applicant.

– Ideally, you will have experience with tail lift or timber delivery, depending on the client.

– You must be able to provide references for your driving experience in the category for which you are applying.
